Skiing in December
Prepare your skis/snowboard for the new season.
If you have your own skis/snowboard, prepare them before the ski season. For your safety, we recommend having the base, edges, tension and ski bindings checked by a competent specialist company.
Invest in good ski clothing and take the onion as your role model.
While it is often still relatively warm in the valley at the start of the season, you can already clearly feel the winter on the mountain. Therefore, wear several layers of clothing and use the onion principle to help you stay warmer. A waterproof and windproof ski jacket and ski trousers, a safe ski helmet, high-quality ski goggles and good gloves protect you from snow, wind and cold when skiing in December.
Experience the magic of the first snow.
As soon as the first snow falls in Ischgl and the Silvretta Arena, the pistes in the Ischgl Paznaun region are groomed and perfect conditions are created for the first descents. Ischgl is slowly coming back to life, making the hearts of skiers and snowboarders beat faster. And we at the Solaria have also prepared special ski opening offers for you.
Ensure adequate protection for your eyes and skin.
When skiing around the opening of the season, good ski goggles and/or sunglasses are just as important as sun cream with a higher protection factor against UV radiation, which also protects against wind and cold.
