Markus Kathrein has Tyrolean hospitality in his blood and his talent for hospitality was probably inherited. His grandfather adored pampering guests.<br/> His wife Ankie has Dutch-Asian roots and regards her job as her calling. Her heartfelt wish is for guests to want for nothing during their stay.

To date, the 4 Star Superior Hotel has used not a single drop of heating oil. Instead, our heating comes from environmentally-sound biomass.

Markus’ father Oswald created unique items of furniture using wood, exhibiting a flair for detail and an eye for special elements. Yet the focus on regionality is not just for the furniture, but also in the hotel's own restaurant in particular. Delicious regional foods feature on the menu.
