Since 01. June 2022 some of the protection measures have been eased in Austria. There are currently no measures in place for the catering & accommodation sectors, and the same applies to leisure, culture and sport.
FFP2 mask obligation
The FFP2 mask obligation has currently been broadly lifted. It only applies in closed rooms in hospitals and convalescent homes, old people's homes and care homes and places where health and care services are provided.
3 G Rule
The 3 G Rule for entry to Austria has been lifted. 3 G evidence is only to be provided by visitors, workers and service providers in hospitals and convalescent homes, old people's homes and care homes, residential in-patient settings for people with disabilities and comparable settings.
